I like it so far. One of the good VS-likes at least.

Things that need improving based on my current experience.
- Defensive Kudos take waaaay too long to progress.
- Even with re-rolls and banishes, something seems jank about the skill rolls. I roll the same ones over and over again so often.
- Difficulty shouldn't be tied to maps. You need a difficulty slider for each map.

Future Recommendation: Peer-to-Peer matchmaking would be awesome. Could even implement a kind of versus mode where the difficulty continues to ramp until only 1 person is left.

Not a fan of the art style, but the gameplay loop itself is quite fun. Feels a bit barebone at the moment in terms of replayability, but certainly worth the asking price. I've gotten my fair share out of it so far.

One of the good ones. Definitely not the best out there, but still a decent time if you're looking for a Survivors-like game to play.

Up there with the best Survivor likes. This scratches that itch that most can't. It has it's own spin on the genre. There's so many different upgrades at your base and so much depth to the attachment combinations that almost every run feels different.

Balancing definitely needs some work, and the performance is awful if you go into high fire rate builds with bullet splitting, duplicating and bouncing, but that's really the only criticisms I have right now.

If the Devs add a launch config that makes the game more GPU bound, I think that might help some people with the issues.

My all time favourite still remains as Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor, but being 2nd to what I believe is the best in the genre isn't a bad thing.

Whoever designed this doesn't understand how keyboard and mouse work. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this is motion sickness inducing. The gameplay is easy, the real battle is against the bloody camera.

Edit: Found a well hidden option in the menu that disables auto-camera movement. Wish it was disabled by default.

No Ultrawide Support either as far as I can tell. Piss poor effort considering it launched ages ago on PS5.

Edit: You can mod Ultrawide Support in. It's not perfect in the cutscenes, but at least gameplay is fine. Still ridiculous that the game doesn't come with it already considering it's just a port.

Other than the above, the story is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good. The game is far more brutal than I was expecting too. They did an incredible job touching on such dark subjects. Very few RPGs from AAA devs out there do that these days.

Beautiful world too. Not as good as Space Marine 2, but certainly has it's moments.

Final Edit after completing Story and both expansions:
- The Eikon fights are something else. They give me such Dragon Ball Z vibes.

- It has been a long time since a game's story finished and left me blankly staring at my screen. You feel for these characters. I can't describe it without spoiling anything, it's such a beautiful and painful story.

- If you love good writing and story-telling and can afford to sink about 60 hours into a game, this is a must buy. It is one of the best stories I've played in a long while. Gameplay is good, lots of different ways to play, but this is definitely a game you buy more for the story.

- Hands down worth the asking price.

Game of the Year for me.

Let's get the bad out of the way first. You can tell this was designed with PC as an after thought. No secondary key bindings, and probably the worst implementation of melee/range combat bindings. Tip for the devs, go look at how Remnant II does it. I've still yet to see a better implementation than that game.

With that out of the way, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does everything feel epic in this game. The weight of the characters and guns is great, fun co-op and character customisation (haven't tried PvP yet).

The environments are stunning. I don't think I've seen a game with such epic backdrops before.

The amount of different execution animations is also far beyond what I expected.

The story goes hard too. Damn did they do Titus' storyline justice in this. Even though it's a new developer, it honestly feels like they studied the first game so well. They understood Titus' character and his internal flaws and strengths.

Do you need to play the first game? Not really, but I would certainly say you are missing out by not playing it. They explain things well for those who hadn't played the first game, but you'll certainly be pulled in more knowing the first games story properly. Especially since the first game is pretty short, so not even that hard of a time investment.

tldr; this game is probably my favourite Warhammer game ever made, and here's to hoping they improve the PC controls and add lots more content and hopefully even make an expansion or something.

Probably one of the most free to play friendly "free" games you can get. Really fun card battle system too. If you've ever enjoyed a card game, this is definitely worth a try.

It's more King Arthur, what can I say? To be honest, if you liked the first game and want some more stories set in that world, you'll probs get some enjoyment out of this.

The below is for people who already played King Arthur: Knight's Tale. If you haven't played that game, you should play that one first.

This is essentially a stripped down version of the first game (cheaper too, so doesn't bother me much).
- The voice acting budget went out the window on this one, going from Mordred to this guy is painful.
- Way smaller morality system (only good/evil).
- 6 Characters only.
- Less powers overall, but to be honest, they added a lot of new ones into these characters, which made some things feel fresh.
- Different city to upgrade, albeit much less upgrades compared to before.
-No HP system (only Vitality) and characters revive at the end of each encounter if they died.

If you liked the first game, I do think it's worth picking up. If you're in no rush, wait for a sale.

It's no Baldur's Gate 3, but certainly does scratch that Turn Based itch with interesting enough story-telling, and certainly not afraid to put some dark background stories for characters in there.

I enjoy the fact that it's not this big open world game. You have a world map, and you choose missions to go on in small areas. None of that Ubisoft bloat you see in a lot of games.

Quite enjoy the city and character upgrading aspect as well. Nice little cooldown thing inbetween missions.

There's a few better VS style games out there, but this certainly does scratch the itch if you like those games. Nothing new per say that adds to the genre, but the different way the mechs control and how the weapons attach to the mech to change it's look is a refreshing change.
