Company of Heroes has always been my favorite RTS and with the sequel still is.
Of course is maybe the more realistic feeling gone from the CoH1 but I think it is for the greater good 'cause the gameplay is much more smoother and intuitive. An okay campaign but it is the multiplayer that you should buy the game for.

Like most people I also don't like the new commander system where you have static abilites stuck on a single commander and you choose 3 commanders to take with you in combat. If you want other ones you gotta buy them, 'cause you won't likely get them through war spoils :/

But it is still a really great RTS game and will recommend it.

Like most people say about this game, it is a very beautiful game. The art combined with the music makes it a very special experience where you really get moved by the story and the characters.

About the gameplay I should first say that I'm not a typical 2D platformer puzzle player, but this game was really fun. It was fun exploring this beautiful world and find hidden treasures and passages. Of course there are the more challenging jumping puzzles but there's something about the art that makes your anger go away after dying 50 times for the same jump. Though there was one thing that got me irritated and that was the saving system. You have to manually save and that's not it, you have to have enough "power" to be able to save (it's a game mechanic). You can imagine how it is to have gotten quite far and not been able to save and then die :P

Besides that little negative thing I really recommend this game!

Short but fun game where you play through the history and evolution of the action adventure genre.

You just want to continue play when the chest rewards are new game elements or enhanced ones like for example going from 16 bit 2D to early 3D and from that to HD textures or getting a minimap when you didn't had it before.

A fun party co-opish game (you'll see what I mean by that later) that will get you killed by laughter!

This is a perfect co-op game to play with friends but if you want serious stuff this isn't it. It's so un-serious it could be with all it's humour, pop culture references (swedish too) and with friendly fire on at all times you WILL be killing your teammates no matter intended or not. Therefore co-opish 'cause all of the team killing. The fenomenal idea to have eight elements to combine in all sorts of spell combinations is what makes this game stand out (and with it's humour accompanying). If you feel you're done with the campaign there is a challenge mode so there is plenty to do in it.

This was all positive stuff so get on cons!
Those who has played the first Magicka I think will be dissapointed with the new quick slot system for magicks. This takes away the fun and difficulty to remember element combinations and actually pulling them off rather than just pressing a single button to call a 5 five element combination of magick. Another thing I'm personally irritated about is the camera distance. It's too far away and for me it's hard too see items and picking them up.

But in general this game is great and I would really recommend it to you, especially with friends if not just only with them!

I didn't like Mount & Blade so much but I love this game!
Chivalry made sword fighting faster to learn and therefore more fun.

...and cutting heads and limbs off is a bonus x)

A very unique and really really good PvP team game where co-operation is crucial.
