Wish there was more than just Yes or No, game isn't all that bad but there are some glaring issues. If they fix enough of them I'll change to recommended but until then, I can't in good conscience recommend it.

What's good:
- Gun and character gameplay is great
- Graphics
- Characters are hot without being over the top ridiculous
- Enough complexity for theorycrafters, simple enough for casuals

What's bad:
- It's Nexon
- P2W
- Many game modes are just bad and annoying
- Compounded RNG
- Story so bad you just skip it

Going into more details if you want to read:

Gameplay is very fun in places while very bad in others. Guns feel snappy and responsive, balance is okay, characters feel different enough with useful abilities, but where it falls flat is in some of its game modes.
Game modes like killing a wave of enemy or the bosses are fun and engaging, while other game modes like defending an inanimate object or escorting the robot is NOT fun, mostly because there is no way to speed up the gameplay, making any progression you've made for your character irrelevant when you are hard locked by a timer. It is also extremely frustrating to babysit an NPC or object in this kind of game. It is simply a game design failure to include mandatory game modes that the average player is going to hate.

As for the P2W aspect, basically you can pay to skip the grind on (almost) anything. An "ultimate" character that would take on average maybe 50 hours to grind can be bought for ~70 USD.
Certain game mechanics exists purely to make money. For example you have a limit on how many characters you can have and that limit can be increased by paying. While it's not too bad of a thing to have to spend 5 or 10$ after you've gotten 300+ hours of game out of it, it is compounded with other game mechanics that purposely slows you down. For example, the ability to skip "research" time to get your items/characters/weapons you are trying to make after farming the materials for them. This is especially bad when talking about mandatory items for character progression that increases your character power level and take over a day of "research" time to make one and you cannot make more than one simultaneously.
It's game design decisions that were made solely for money reasons, not with the player's best interest in mind.
The game is free to play so they have to make money somehow, but there are ways to make money without hurting the game loop as a whole. Reality is... It's a company and companies exists to make money.

Finally, the RNG... Some RNG isn't bad, but without any systems in place to counteract bad luck, RNG only makes the game frustrating and unfun. Things like a pity system for failing to get an item you want after too many tries, or removing items from a drop pool to increase the chance of getting the item you want. They have a "catalyst" (or whatever the name of that item is) system in place to increase the rare items drop chance from the "boxes" but it barely gives any increase and they have such a low drop rate that there is no point in farming them.
But the worst part really is the compounded RNG. Here's an example... to get a character, you need to first drop the "box" that has one of its 4 parts. That box is very rarely a guaranteed drop, meaning you have to repeat the activity that drops it until you get it. Then once you have the "box", you need to do the activity required to open said "box" and you get to roll on which item in the box you get. This is RNG on top of RNG in a game without actual systems for bad luck. It only results in pure frustration.
Having some grind in a game like this isn't a problem, but this is a bad kind of grind, one that can either take you an hour to do with pure luck, or one where you will never finish even after thousands of hours of playing because of bad luck.

Literally just Dragon's Dogma 1 but better in every ways.

The negative reviews either didn't play for more than 30 minutes to realize all the microtransactions DLCs are useless or they tried playing the game on a toaster or with a mish mash of incompatible hardware that would make their GPU melt just trying to run MS Paint in 4k in the first place.

I'm sure there are some genuine thumbs down review out there in this sea of dented steam users, but you'd lose brain cells trying to find one.

DLC is great, 2.0 changes are all great... but

Spoiler warning, the alternate ending provided by Phantom Liberty is even more depressing than the endings of the base game. People have asked for a good ending for V and instead they not only double down on having only bad endings, they triple down on it by making it the most impossibly depressing ending you could ever come up with.

This is why I'm giving it a thumbs down. It's bad enough for me to overlook how good the rest of this DLC is.

I hate it thanks.
Ever wondered what it feels like sitting on a foot long dildo for hours? That's what Remnant 2 feels like when played at the hardest difficulty solo.

10/10, would recommend.

7/10 - Pretty good game, would recommend for DND and CRPG lovers.

Pros:
- Very respectful of 5e DND rules.
- Almost every spells and features feels useful to some degree, even the abilities that you wouldn't expect to be of use in a video game version of DND.
- AI does a good job overall
- There's a good amount of diversity in assets, from monsters to locations.
- Music is good.
- Character interactions are great.
- Good diversity of items and very generous in handing them out at a good pace.
- Custom campaigns and campaign maker.
- Amazing UI!

Cons:
- Story is pretty meh.
- Lot of cringeworthy moments in the cutscenes.
- Some of the voices are just painfully annoying and just makes you to punch the characters with those voices.
- Limited to level 12 maximum.
- Lots of loading screens.
- No multiclassing.

It's a straight up upgrade from Warhammer 2.
The good:
- Settlement/City battles are actually amazing.
- Battle Maps are extremely diverse and with many, many, obstacles and hills that makes it a lot more strategic.
- The campaign special battles are very unique.
- Diplomacy feels a lot better.
- Units are a lot more impactful, damage is done faster, no more being stuck in a city door for 30 minutes just to rout one unit of tier 1 spearman.
- Extremely pretty and colorful. This is what you would expect from 2022 graphics. The background landscape is absolutely stunning as always.

The bad:
- Constantly crashing
- A lot of questionable UI changes like removing the color coding on a lot of stuff like talents and construction/destruction of buildings.
- No Windowed Fullscreen mode, crashes a lot when alt tabbing from fullscreen. Windowed mode isn't fitting on a 4k screen properly.
- Barrier is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanic and needs to be reworked, too easy to abuse.
- Settlement towers are way, way, too strong. It shouldn't be this easy to rebuild a tower over and over again.

A few questionable UI decisions here and there but otherwise the game is just better.
