Ok i think i am one of the few people to spend 100+ hours in the game (one run btw).
I have finished everything from A-Z, if you ask me in a few words what do i think?
I will answer you with: "A Huge Dissapointment", but let's go for the pros and cons anyway.

Pros:
- Nice artwrok and general appreance of the game
- Improved visual effects
- A very few interesting side quests or islands
- multiclassing was a nice addition

Cons:
- The difficulty level is a joke (played on veteran)
- Lack of interesting in-depth story or side quests
- Main quest is extremely short
- Lack of Unique items and monsters
- Lack of bosses
- The ship battles are extremely imbalanced and pointless
- Companions lack life and depth
- The game is hardly rewarding in any way

You can notice i mentioned "LACK" a lot of times, it's because the game feels like the developers only finished 50% of it and decided to release it regardless of anything, there are nothing thrilling like dragons, sea monsters, unkillable things, the game looks so big, but is so empty, that after finishing it you only have hatred to remember the game by.
