It's money well spent. I did not replay a game like 5 times over as far as i can remember. Different playstyles, more places to explore etc. It never gets boring. And if it does, the MODDING community helps you out a lot!

Gathering resources is to grindy. It simply takes to much time. I would recommend it if you were able to get resources more easily. But i can't waste my precious time walking around for ages in order to get the materials that i need.
