It's a really solid dungeon crawler. I do kind of wish that it had been set in a wild west that didn't already have halberds and spellbooks in it (the premise feels a little wasted) but all in all, a fun game.

Hard to say whether to reccomend this or not. It's a fairly ordinary RTS that thinks parroting Tolkien and Martin is super hilarious, bearing the name of a unique and bizarre (and admittedly flawed) earlier work. Still, I guess I had fun with it.

As innovative as it was when it first came out, this game is not fun to play. It's not so much difficult as it arbitrarily decides to kill you, the plot is all over the place, and the updated graphics actually make it harder to get around. For historians only.

The game is better than the original in every way, saving for the originality. I bought it on sale, though, and months after the lootboxes had been removed. Makes me wonder how badly it had to ruin the gameplay to make people hate it so much.

Plot: incomprehensible. Characters: named after playing cards. Every side quest feels like it comes out of World of Warcraft. But this game is fun, engaging and generally challenging. Now I'm off to wikipedia to figure out what it's about.

Not super inspired, but you can do a lot worse than Flying Medievil Mega Man.

As with all JRPGs, it runs twice as long as it should, but still fun. I would love to have been at the pitch meeting where they couldn't decide if the bad guy should be Angel-Hitler trying to hypnotise the world or Elf-Malcom X trying to save his sister, so they just did both.

I love the premise, the visuals, the character design, the sex-positive-while-not-exploitative lead. The problems are that the game is hard enough not to be fun, and the control scheme seems deliberately obtuse.

I don't know what the fanboys are complaining about. This is one of the best games ever made, and now I have it on my computer.
