I'm extremely impressed by the force we managed to pull in getting sony to back down from the psn account requirement. However, there's still PC players around the world that can't play the game, and I will not be removing my negative review from the game until those people can play the game again.

one of the greatest games ever made. worth every dollar and I will be playing for decades.

Ok, before I get into it, I wanna say that the gameplay is amazing. it's halo + portal with even more gamemodes. the only points I'd knock in this category are for pc - console crossplay, some very minor nitpicks about the weapon design, and I tiny bit of lag. But this is some really 9/10 gameplay ♥♥♥♥, which should be more then enough to at least try out a free-to-play game.

Everything else about the game, from the artstyle to the menus to the monetization, I'd give like a 3/10. the game has absolutely no personality whatsoever. half the armor skins look straight out of halo, and the other half belong in fortnight. The artstyle is all over the place, and nothing looks like it's from the same game. if you asked me what Splitgate's style is, the only thing I could say is it looks like it's trying really hard to be an E-Sport. This looks like a fake game that would play in the background of a movie.

It also hosts the exact same battlepass system, overpriced item store, and in-your-face advertising that every single other multiplayer game seems to do nowadays. I'd honestly much rather pay $30 - $60 bucks to play this then have a million different items and skins shoved in my face every 3 seconds.

With that being said I still think that this is a great game. It's free, the gameplay is so much fun, and as long as you don't have a gambling addiction to lootboxes, you should be able to play the game just fine without emptying your pocket. I only wish that they had treated this game more like a piece of art then as avenue for making as much money as possible.

Every piece of design in this game is made to make you feel like a demon killing badass, it's the perfect action game.

Team Fortress 2 is one of the games I grew up with. We got it when I was 9 years old and I'm still playing almost 10 years later. This game is by far my favorite game of all time and I hope to spend another 10 years playing it.

I love this game, the mixture of rts and fps is amazing. I would give this game a 8.5/10. It's a shame that barely anyone is still playing.
