Coming from someone who is not normally an ARPG player, I have to say this game is fantastic.

I've put in 40 hours in less than a week since launch, and the only reason I haven't put in more is because I've had RL stuff to do. The boss fights are insanely good, they can be tough but force you to pay attention and learn boss mechanics, combat is fluid and works really well (although so far I haven't tried any other class than Monk as I'm having a blast with it), the maps in the game are really engaging and a lot of them are huge.

I was never a fan of PoE1 and being locked into builds and therefore having to follow build guides, so it is great we can refund passives now which allows you to do what you want and change whenever you want, this game is like crack! :D

It's alright if you can't afford Battlefield.

Too much smoke in maps, you may as well put on a blindfold, also not much in terms of environmental destruction. You at least feel somewhat useful as a medic / engineer, but even at their highest, the graphics are not like they are in this trailer. Not for me.

TLDR: Most people will already know about this game, but if somehow you don't, it is one of the best and most immersive games you could ever play.

Graphics look great with the next gen update, I first played this on Xbox One when it first game out, it looks even better now then it did back then. There's hundreds of hours worth of content to go through if you're not just aiming to blast straight through the main campaign and fast travel everywhere, and I would recommend you don't, just take your time and enjoy the game for what it is, as you'll never play anything quite like this (unless Witcher 4 is similar).

And Gwent! One of the most addictive side activities / card games I've ever seen in an RPG, gotta catch em all!

If you haven't played this game, you're seriously missing out.

Decent game for free, if you like PvP in your MMOs I suspect this will be right up your street and the graphics are great, however I can't recommend this for the PvE. While the PvE is good, being a P2W game, you get a certain amount of tokens which are used to open boss chests for loot, once you run out of those you're done, log back on tomorrow. They really should remove this 'feature'.

I really dislike this limitation, you'll still get a good 50 / 60 or so hours out of it, but I'm not here for the long term. I'd recommend at least to try it as it has potential, but I think it will always be what it is.

In days where released games seem to be of poorer and poorer quality, this is well worth £15 of anyone's money! Cracking little game, plenty of missions and minigames.

I had forgotten this was due to be released and bought it last night as soon as I saw it. I already own the original collection on Origin but these 2 games are that old they don't run properly and I'm pretty sure the 1st game doesn't work at all. This works perfectly, I really like how the game's graphics have been updated but the old CGI cutscenes remain the same. If you enjoyed these games back in the day you will love this!

Only recommended for people used to playing early access games.

Do not play on official servers unless you are a large group or are planning to become part of one, you will not stand a chance otherwise. This is not like Ark where 1 person who knows what they're doing can wipe a whole tribe, not even close. The game isn't perfect obviously, it's 1 month into a 2 year early access release, I'm really not sure what some people expected when they brought it but there's a hell of a lot more in this game than you'll ever find in something like Sea of Thieves. Best enjoyed in a large group where you won't need to worry about being griefed and wiped all the time, otherwise steer clear of this.

If you understand clearly what early access means and you enjoy survival games you will most likely have a lot of fun with this. In it's current state it is already better than DayZ after 6(?) years of development, yes that's right DayZ fanboys hate this all you want but deep down in your soul you know it to be true!

Seriosuly though, as stated it's already a lot of fun and will only get better as more content is brought in, I'm also of the understanding that the price will rise as more work is added so best to get it early anyway. Be warned it can at times be very brutal, but I love it.

I missed out on playing this while it was a new release, to be honest I never heard of it at the time but have heard a lot about it since. I bought it today as the GOTY edition was less than £5 elsewhere and I was looking for something "new" to try out, it's a lot of fun and has aged really well due to the graphical style. I've been a fan of looter shooters since I played the division so this has a big thumbs up from me, I'll definitelty be getting Borderlands 3, whenever that releases. It seems to be quite a lengthy game from what I have seen so far and the humour in the game is pretty decent also if a little childish in places. It's very well optimised and I was able to stream it on my mid-range PC at 60fps no problem at all.

Since it's an old game now, I'll say if you can get it for cheap (which isn't hard) go for it, you'll get your monies worth if you enjoy loot shooter games. Go for the GOTY edition if you can as it includes all of the DLC.

Any fan of Papers Please will love this game! I've been patiently waiting for it to release since I saw a stream of it a couple of months ago. It's essentially a satirical take on Brexit and it is more in-depth than Papers Please, the music while stood outside the nightclubs is very catchy too! Brilliant little indie game. :D
