It's hard to comment because gameplay is such a vague term. For understandable reasons, RDR2 is on another technological level. The story is bigger and longer, which contributes to its depth. And magnificently directed cutscenes improved storytelling. All of that made the sequel much more enjoyable for me. As for the core mechanics, as I mentioned in the review, they're pretty much the same.

wsg, the nfs mw 2012 was a standalone "limited edition" of the 2005 mw, but now that origin isnt a thing anymore, they migrated all the old games to the ea launcher, in which most old relevant games have been remastered (for bad) hope this helps

Greetings. I didn't notice your comment until now. Well, I completed the Ultima series on the Commodore 64 in the mid to late eighties. Including Airborne Ranger, Might & Magic, Gunship, Silent Service, Zork, Oo-Topos, Aliens, and so on. Been a long ride, so many good memories, so many great friends and communities. My first console was a Telstar. It took 8 DD batteries and only worked on a B&W TV. I got that in 78. Owned an Amiga 500, an IBM DX33, IBM DX66, Colecocision, and so on. So many computers and consoles.
