So, full disclosure, I have no idea how much fun this game is. Why? Because I couldn't even get through the setup.

First, it said I had to link my Steam account to my Battle.net account, which I actually already had; good thing, too, or this would have been even more of a waste of time.

So I tried to link it, and failed. It threw up an error. So I tried again, fail again. Four times and about 10 in, I look it up online, and it tells me to try a different browser, so I do, and that works. And then it tells me I need SMS protection for my account, even though it's MY ACCOUNT and I should decide whether I want SMS protection on it. So they want my phone number too. Did I mention that you can't even change your settings until you get through all this crap? And that you have to restart your game before it realises you've linked your account?

So anyway, I'm fed up at this point, and I uninstall the game. You don't need my phone number for me to play your game, you just want it, Blizzard.
If you're willing to sit through 5-20 minutes of setup before you can even so much as change the settings so the game is on the RIGHT GOSH-DARN MONITOR, you might like this game. Or not, who knows? I have other games to play that don't want my contact info. I suggest you find one of those too, rather than deal with Blizzard's greedy data-hungry nonsense.

TL;DR: I didn't play the game, because a combination of bad website design, bad-faith account shenanigans, and refusal to let me even alter the game settings before I deal with both of those.

I couldn't play this game.
This is because, even on the lowest settings, with every advanced graphics option turned off, the loading screen took so long, the game started without me, and I experienced framerate issues whenever we started fighting the monster
Now, I'm not running on a low-spec computer; this is literally the first game where I've ever had issues with my performance. But Evolve is apparently not meant to be played by people who aren't running 100% new, out-of-the-box computers.
I do not recommend this game, and I will probably never play it again.
Which is a shame, because the idea had potential, but the excecution is just bad.
