Can't recommend. The latency basically makes this game a nightmare to play multiplayer, and theres bare bones single player missions. I came for a neat sword play/fighting game in the style of Swords of Gurah, but the latency seems to make a world of difference. Even at 30 ping vs 80 ping, you can watch in real time as the opponent is still mid swing while you've been resting in thy bosom tang deep.
Fun game if it worked. It does not.

I like the idea and will probably revisit but honestly with the lack of feedback from melee hits, it falls short of what I was sorta wanting it to do, especially with the description showing a fairly cool example of pushing one of the baddies down with the sword.

Absolutely amazing. Literally can't give this a higher recommendation without breaking some sort of scale.
However, no game is perfect.

A long story short, this game is a solid 10/10 game, but that doesn't mean perfection, it means its a masterpiece. The pros far outway the con and the bugs that have cropped up (that I haven't experienced) are fixed as quick as Larian can get to them. With that being said, here are the pros vs cons

Pros:
Amazing narrative
Voice acting is superb
Combat is super fun and destructive
Characters are interesting (even created)
Flow is decent

Cons:
The beginning few hours can be slow and tedious, especially if restarting
Combat can get slow depending on class set up


Thats all. To expand on a few of those, certain classes such as rogue have advantage when hitting an enemy from the back, but with a party of Wizard, Ranger, Fighter and Rogue, the wizard and ranger are able to blast away at everything with fire while the rogue sits by and watches, given the entirity of the enemy is surrounded in flame. Thats may get fixed later in the hours but as of right now, its a problem.

One of the pros I mentioned was the flow was good, which somewhat conflicts with my first con. I will admit, though tedious, it knows how to pace itself in its own story. Being Sourcerers that are stranded can make life difficult, especially given level 1 no armor source muted sourcerers. So, it reasons that life can be tough at first. Once you get rolling after a few hours playing, things simply take off.

Overall, amazing game.

Honestly, its a helluva game. Get some friends and play the hell out of the story.

With mods dying out and Take-two basically ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the community, I probably won't even install this again until its resolved. Oh well.

If you don't have this game, you are missing out. I will say it does cost a arm and a leg to get all the ♥♥♥♥ you need to play it but it is worth it, get into building or go another way and be a detective on TTT.. Hell go to a rp server its all cool, GO TO A l4d based server even! HA you can do it all!
