This game is great when it works. Just about every other time I try to play it crashes when I try to load my save file and I've given up on it. Maybe I'll return to it when it's more stable.

If you like squad tactics RPGs then you'll like this game.

Ok, hear me out...

This game is from an era where the length was padded by bonkers puzzles and a punishing save mechanic. Normally I'm not a fan of these old systems. However, if you play it on easy and with a walkthrough it's a really satisfying experience.

For me, this is the classic isometric CRPG that got me hooked on the genre. Not all of it's features and mechanics have aged well over 20 years, but it's a work of art in my opinion.

It's the best beat'em up throwback game that has come out in 2020. If you liked the originals you should get this game.

It's an Xcom game from a more insular point of view. Instead of saving the world, you're just trying to help your city with the assistance of a... unique cast of characters.
