I definately recommend this game...while it's on sale!

Honestly I wouldn't have touched this game at it's original $15 dollar asking price. But while it's on sale, everyone should pick this game up.

Eldritch really ain't half bad. A basic rogue-like but it is very fun to play. Though I learned quickly that the knife and gun are the best weapons and I basically ignore everything else unless I'm desperate or curious. Cloaking and Teleport is also good, but you're never guaranteed those powers.

I only use the gun on enemies that can fire projectiles or are hard to kill with the knife (I learned the hard way that Shaggoth is unkillable). But anyway, there is just enough variety to let you experiment with your play style and how you want to go about traversing the levels. Sometimes I try to rocket past every enemy and just make it to the exit, other times I play around and kill every monster in an area. (The ones that can be killed at least) But just remember that when you loot a dead enemy, they respawn later on.

The levels don't seem very hard to navigate though, at least as long as you have a compass. And so far it seems that as long as you head downwards, you are going the right way. The shops have good items, especially a pair of boots that silence your footsteps. It's pretty cool. That's basically how I rate this game. Pretty cool.

Its a fun 4 player rumble. But don't bother if you don't have friends to play it with.
