I fired to save my friend from a rampaging bug monster.
I ended up killing him instead.
I'm the last one alive from a 4-person squad.
I try to put in a 6-key combination to resummon the rest as the enemies rush in.
A couple of smaller bugs land a hit and interrupt me.
I fall down, half dead.
I frantically re-do the code as the bigger bugs close in for the kill.
I throw out the Reinforce beacon half a second before I'm bug food.
Everyone is back. Mission continues.
