Fatshark fixed the ♥♥♥♥ and the game is really fun now

It's not a bad game, its just not a great game.

The game mechanics need some work to make it more fun. After a while exploration becomes tiresome. base building becomes a chore and you are just sitting there waiting for the next resource type to tick up the the amount needed to build the next thing in the list.

Also needs something more to do with raiders and colony defence. Raiders arrive, politely knock on my door and then i either bribe them or fight them. I have 200 guns and 200 colonists but for some reason only the 10 colonists i have in guard towers know how to fight???

Worlds best Hat Simulator

I was expecting a game as similar to and as good as or better than Dungeon Keeper Gold. Long story short: i didn't get it. The similarity was there but the fun and gameplay wasn't.

The game looks good, has some good mechanics and has obviously had a lot of effort into polishing it to look really nice but really failed to grab me and i got bored an hour in. Maybe i just have higher expectations as i absolutely loved DKG but I think my boredom was mainly due to it being really slow and based off the few missions i played far to easy.

This game is when its 'good' is an amazingly fun game. Humans vs Vampires in a 4vs4 TDM game akin to Left 4 Dead (minus the hordes of zombies). The teams and characters are extremely well balanced, the maps fun and when you're in a game good with a well balanced team i find it hard to beat.

But that's the thing: It's only if your in a good game and probably 50% of the time you're not.

Tthis is pretty much down entirely to matchmaking as it for some reason is very hit or miss. Sometimes i'll be in a game with similarly skilled individuals and it's 'good', othertimes the game has been rediculously unbalanced with one team winning by stupidly large margins (like 30 kills to 1). Some people have said that it's due to a small player base others have called it bad MM code either way it needs to be heavily tweaked before the game is released in full.

This game is fcu*ing awesome.

Fun Game in single player.
Multiplayer is really fun if you can get it working.
the network code is broken: the game will constantly desync and you will be forced to quit.
if they fix that i would have no problems with it.
