Rough, unpolished, incomplete, and empty.
This feels more like a copy of another game, that was done for a school project, but never completed.
The game isn't very intuitive at all, and its unnecessarily compartmentalized, which breaks what little immersion there is.
I'm sure some like it just fine, but definitely not for me.

The game feels rather dated, like a shooter from a decade ago. Also the fact that there are so many invisible barriers, that if you step to the left or right too much, suddenly you're not allowed to use your weapon?
How about of instead disabling your weapon, you place obstacles so players can't go there?
And why create such a narrow corridor in the first place?
Finally, why are certain players able to see you through walls, and know your precise location at all times?
Hard pass

Forever Skies feels like a half-baked concept of a game, that was never flushed out. Even for early-access, it feels like an empty game, with little to no purpose. For a game this hallow, you'd think they'd at least have co-op mode or something.
Another over-hyped game with an interesting concept, but unless they do some MASSIVE improvements and expansions to the game (including adding some type of storyline or co-op mode), there really doesn't seem to be any point or purpose.

Final Recommendation: save your money. Go play Raft, Subnautica, Grounded, Sons of Forest, or anyone of dozens of better alternatives.

STARFIELD is a welcome change for Bethesda, as it is fun, expansive, and full of unique content, that will keep you exploring planets and playing for years to come.
While I am NOT a fan of Bethesda (as they have a history of making unstable, bug-infested, glitchy games), but surprisingly, they did a very good job on this one!
I'm not saying its 100% perfect (it has some issues), Starfield is about 500% better then anything else Bethesda has put out in over a decade. Even on its own, Starfield is a solid game. Give it a B+

Literally the best Total War game ever created to date... and yeah, I have played them all.
Not only are the naval battles better (especially when you get a hold of the "Warrior" Ironclad), but the late-era artillery effects are as amazing as they are devastating.

A very under-rated game that has fallen below the radar for most, but is surprisingly good and unique. Has a good storyline to it with plenty of building and exploration options. Fun to play in both single-player mode, as well as co-op mode. Lots of new content and updates being added on a regular basis.

Until they fix their broken Team-Kill system, and add more content to the game... its just a toxic grind-fest for cosmetics.

The devs kind of half-baked this thing, with only a few missions to complete, and the rest is just GRIND, GRIND, & GRIND some more... so unless you're really into cosmetic outfits and weapon skins (more cosmetics), there is not much to it after you complete the 12 main missions.

Also, there is a growing trend of toxic team-killers, that will purposely TK you when your health gets low. Whats more, is the devs left no way for players to report Team-Killers to get them blocked or banned. Instead they've left Friendly Fire permanently on, with no way of reporting TK'ers, or getting resolution against griefers.

I wanted to give FarCry 6 a positive review (thumbs up), because it can be a lot of fun with a friend in co-op mode... but as you progress in the game, the bugs and glitches become more and more common, until it becomes almost unplayable.

PROS:
* Descent graphics for 2023
* Enormous map
* Absurd amount of content, side-quests, and collectibles to grind (if you're into that sort of thing)
* Difficulty scales (at least to some degree, and when the game isn't glitching out)

CONS:
* Co-op voice chat doesn't work most of the time if you're on different platforms (such as Steam vs Epic), and will actually interrupt Steam-voice
* Buggy AF! As you progress in the game, it seems to become more and more unstable. For example, I spent over 2 hours, just trying to get past a single mission (Sundown), as the NPCs kept glitching and causing the mission to fail over and over and over and over and over. When I finally beat it, the game froze on a blank screen and never unfroze, even after 20 minutes. The devs have known about this issue but have done nothing to fix it.
* Memory leaks & proximity glitches. Sometimes you'll complete something, and the game will stop auto-saving, and you'll lose all your progress in the last 10 minutes or so. The only way to fix it is the same way to fix the bugged-ammo issue where your guns have no ammo, but the game keeps telling you you're full of ammo, even though you're dry. So you have to return to a base, use the workshop to mod a weapon, and then ammo works again, as does your auto-saves. In addition, sometimes the proximity triggers glitch out, and spawn endless waves of NPC in a never-ending flood of hostiles, and you have to leave the area to fix it.

CONCLUSION: Only buy FarCry6 if its 80-90% off regular price, and you have a friend to co-op with, and you're patient and understand that as you progress the main storyline, the game will become more and more unstable.

A nice little Strategy-Sim game set in an underwater world.
Essentially, its mostly about resource-management, with a little bit of layout-design strategy.
The exploration aspect is lacking and limited, and isn't really worth it IMO (until they improve it).
Overall it deserves a solid "B" grade, for an RTS or sim game.
Definitely worth buying on sale, or if you're a fan of classic strategy or sim games, or just a fan of underwater games.

However, if you're looking for more of an "A" grade RTS game, I would recommend instead to check out 'Stranded Alien Dawn", which has far more depth, range, replay-ability, and overall fun-factor.

Early Access Review
UPDATE:
Wtih an additional 500 hours in the game, I can now confidently say that Stranded Alien Dawn is still one of the best RTS-style games available on Steam to date.
The additional scenarios added a LOT of content to the game. But with the addition of the new mod system, the modding community is healthy and strong, and has a large variety of mods to customize your gameplay experience.
I recommend the base game, as well as mods of your choosing (my favorite is the Firefly mod)!

ORIGINAL:
While still in early-access, Stranded Alien Dawn already has proven to do a lot of things right, and is reminiscent of a lot of classic RTS games of the past. Lots of promise and potential!
In its current state, it is already worth owning, as the different challenges, worlds, party-members, and scenarios, mean you can customize it to your own preferences... in both difficulty and depth.
