This is a very well done game. The gameplay reminds me a lot of classic sega platformers, which were some of the best ones.
I feel that if Shovel Knight is a tribute to NES games, then Freedom Planet is a tribute to Genesis games.

I will admit that the story is nothing amazing, but it did manage to give me some laughs. You can also play in classic mode, which is only gameplay, which i think is the best part of the game. You get to play as multiple characters who currently have slightly diverging storylines, but each character feels very unique in how they play.

The music is well done, it never annoyed me or got on my nerves at any point. The graphics are very nice looking.

Over all it feels like a very nice game that you should try to play if you get the chance.
