OK so, its years later and the odds of new people picking this up is decreasing.
That is blashemous, and this is my little PSA regarding that.

Nuclear throne is Hotline Miami meets the Binding of Isaac meets... Vlambeer. The amount of pure chaos that is constantly onscreen seems impossible at first glance, yet as you keep playing a stranger thing happens: insiduously, you become *good* at it. Before long, you're gonna reach the coveted Nuclear Throne. Without spoiling too much, it's only then you realize how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard this game can actually get.

I have 160 hours played of a game where the average run lasts maybe minutes, seconds if I'm being realistic. (looking at you, Melting, a character with an HP pool that means instadeath more often than not).

Its years later and still I'm playing this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. It's that good.

It's killed other roguelikes for me.
10/10 would die again.
