You beat the host, they leave, you don't get a win.

I would've given this walking-simulator a pass, but the controls are so janky, and the characters occasionally loses the ability to grab. The video settings seemed to be sync across devices. Not ideal if you switch between a Steam Deck or PC. Seems like there is very little game here for the asking price.

Update: The game can also lose your save file, and force you to start from scratch. If you've completed the game, and gained "chapter select" in order to 100%, then losing the file means having to start from the beginning.

grown up among us

The slow pace walking and clunky combat is as torturous as this barren remains of this alien world. I'm left here wondering if it was intended. Was it worth it? Then I remembered all that I saw. A sense of calmness washes over me knowing that the beings that build this world are gone. All that remains is a coral as the light fades.

Cool little mechanic and narration, but the game gets boring and tedious very quick. Repetitive, slow puzzles, there are ones where you die and have to start over. It too simplistic to be engaging. I don't think I can ever put the time to finish this one.
