one more shape, one more shape....

The type of game you start at 7 or 8 pm, don't look at the clock for what feels like 5 minutes and its 2 am...

Awesome game.

100 hours in and I think I've seen pretty much everything the game has to offer for now.

This is currently a very good looking, slow paced, grind-heavy crafting/building game.
Playable solo if you don't mind the grind, much easier in a group if you want to advance faster.

Combat is, apparently, still just a placeholder, I really hope it gets reworked completely because it's barely functional enough to hunt low-level deer or boar.

The game has decent base, I don't mind the slow pace or the grind if anything I quite enjoy it. It reminds me of my max-cape grind in Runescape a few years back. Maxing every skill in the game could maybe be a nice long-term project after the final early-access wipe.

But it still needs a ton of work, it misses a lot of features and fine-tuning that could transform this into an amazing game.

I'll definitely be back for more once it's a bit more fleshed out.

Edit: Well it seems like over 200k negative reviews in 3 days may sway even a giant Corp like Sony.

Beautiful graphics, intresting mechanics and a lot of love for details.

If you want to spend a nice evening or two, this is the game for you.

I quite like this game...

It really delivers what it promises in the trailers.
We have nice helpful community of mature players fostered by a prestige system that rewards you for building awesome stuff.

A well build plot system that protects your builds from terrain regeneration and grievers.

An interesting crafting system and shop stands.
I love the shop-stands. If you spend a lot of time building something awesome and you want people to see it:
just add a small shop with good prices to your build and you'll have visitors.
Connect to the portal network, which was setup by the players and you'll have traffic.

Exploration.
There are currently 30 planets ingame, seperated in 6 tiers of difficulty, this affects monsters and ressources.
All with diffrent colors and biomes.

Combat.
Monsters range from very easy to 'oh my god I need to bring 10 friends' and don't worry you'll find people to go on a hunt.

For those afraid of the cubits/cash system.

Yes you can buy cubits for cash but you really don't need to.
I have a lvl50 char now with over 300 plots, bought 2 additional character slots and multiple respecs,
and haven't spend a dime beyond the purchase of the game.

TL;DR;
Buy the game ! (and visit my build ;) )

It didn't pull me in, I just didn't care about the characters like in other games and the story isn't very intresting either.
The gameplay is fun at the beginning but gets dull very fast.

The balance seems off.
If you play it safe (run cover to cover) it is boring and if you push you die.

Created an ugly dude.

Ran arround naked.

Got eaten by a dinosaure.

EPIC !!
