The game is great if you can play. I can't even invite friends to a game or vise versa. We are both on steam. It fails both ways. Same old song and dance of dev's beta testing a game after they've sold it. It's really getting annoying.


Edit: 3-6-2024. The nerf to the breaker kind of sucks. Don't break the weapons to make the game harder just give me more mobs. Nerfing weapons makes the game less fun, don't make the game harder by making it less fun. No one will want to play. You could have buffed the breaker and given me more mobs and it would have been harder and more fun. People ♥♥♥♥♥ less about that...

Good game. Reminds me of BoTW mixed with valheim. There are a few quirks but the mechanics are pretty good. I have only fought the first boss at about 8 hours in so I can't attest to the length of the game. If it's at least 30 hours, which you can probably spend that much time building a base, then it will be worth it.

It's hard but I think it is also designed for you to die multiple times to pass a certainly level, unless of course you are amazing. I, unfortunately am not amazing but its still a fun game.

The game should be awesome but it's so old and broken that it's more stressful to play than what it's worth. The load times are garbage even with a 3080. Why do the load times suck on an 11 yr old game when you have a 3080? I don't know either. Modders run ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rampant in the game and Rockstar doesn't seem to care at all. The controls are ♥♥♥♥ especially without a keyboard. Half of the features don't even work, like trying to join a friend via the friend list. They desperately need to make a new game and update the code.

The unfortunate fact of the matter is, the game could be absolutely awesome. There is no other game like it so this is your only option which forces people to keep coming back even though it is completely broken.

Fantastic game. Hunting for pages gets a bit repetitive but the castle is enormous and there is plenty to explore. I am 20 hours into the game it says I have about 12% of the items found. Story seems awesome so far. The combat system is very well designed although I think it may be easier with a controller, I am getting along fine with a kb.

Great game. I haven't found many issues with it. Open world, sandbox, crafting, survival. It has it all. There are a couple of small changes I would make but the game is early access and I am sure those minor issues will be sorted out upon official release.

I mean if you haven't played it WTF?

It's in beta right now but we get updates almost weekly. If you liked War Band you will love this game. Same core mechanics but everything is enhanced.

If you like exploration and crafting this is the game for you.

Amazing game! Exploration is unmatched. Story is great so far. I haven't finished it yet. Scary if you listen with headphones in the dark.
