Fantastic visual novel. The developer has a knack for storytelling that sets it apart from other offerings of this style. Deep enough game play to present a challenge if desired, while still allowing a completely casual play through if that is more one's style. While the larger story is mostly on rails, there is plenty of player choice involved to keep players interested and engaged.

After having put a few hours into this game, I think I can safely say that I enjoy it. The setting's scale feels fantastic and the world has plenty to see and do.
As far as crafting/survival games so I tend to lean toward the building aspects, and the structures are varied and the building mechanics robust enough to allow for some impressive constructions. The yard's inhabitants can be unforgiving but not to the point of being an impossible challenge, and their transient nature means that avoiding them is almost always an option.
It seems clear to this point that the developers are dedicated to continuing this project and update regularly with minor patches as well as major expansions, fleshing out the yard and adding new items and abilities. I'm looking forward to what comes next.
