Coming from Future Soldier I had high hopes for this game as I also loved the series and couldn't wait to methodically pick off my opponents with my squad of ultra-elite stealth comandos. However, while it still offered that classic ubisoft stealth it lacked the attention to detail of the other games. For example, the AI is next to useless with 4-5 basic commands that execute for the whole squad preventing you from accomplishing even the most basic tasks whilst relying upon them, thus forcing you into co-op. On top of that stealth is hindered by glitches. I was deeply dissapointed that Ubisoft dropped the ball on this. As a long time fan of the series I hope that the next installment (and we all know there will be another) refocuses itself on providing a solid experience for both singleplayer and multiplayer as Future Soldier did so well. If Ubisoft could just focus its ambitions more tightly, forget about giant maps and amazing graphics I just want to be able to enjoy Ghost Recon by myself rather than trying to coax my friends into purchasing an 80 dollar game just to play with me (as I'm sure they'd like me to do.)

So to conclude, if you want to pay 80 dollars for a pyramid scheme of a game that is not nearly as enjoyable as the previous games; go ahead and make this purchase, but if you're like me looking for the classic Ghost Recon experience you're out of luck unless your friends are 1. Patient with bugs and 2. Willing to buy this game (even when its on sale).
