I happy this finally released. I have played DF classic for countless hours and excited to see it made more available to everyone now with the Steam release. The new interface makes creating your fortress easy. I love the music. So happy for all the adventures to be had in the future as I play it more.

This is the best game ever.

I remember when I first bought this game because of its similarity to Prison Architect . It was still early on in the development and I was kinda first initially disappointed by its difficulty and how I never really got anywhere in the game. But then I came back to it a few years later and was really impressed by how much the game has improved.

Things I really enjoyed about the game:
-The community (check out Pete Complete's survival series), reddit, and steam
-The Workshop - The game is greatly improved with mods. You can really customize it further to your liking. This adds so much replayability. If the game is too hard then you can adjust the difficulty easily and then increase it as you feel suits you.
-Starting a new colony and seeing how far I can get.
-Warcrimes, cannabilism, and body modification
