A really fun reboot of the original. Unfortunately, multiplayer is pretty much dead. You can play with/against bots but only Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch...

Still, the singleplayer is worth it.

For a free DLC this one is not shabby at all.

3 different missions/worlds and one world of them is very, VERY Blade Runner-esque.

Even has voice-acting to a degree.

This is arguably the best LEGO DC game so far!

Before I played it I heard a lot of people saying how awesome this game is and it surely delivered.

The story is fun, the cutscenes are fun, the levels are fun, the characters are fun and the open world is just amazing (and WAY better than the one is Beyond Gotham)!

There are some minor things that don't make the game 100% awesome though:

- Sometimes bosses get stuck when they have 1 heart left, making them undefeatable. (You need to restart the level...really annoying, luckily it only happened once in the main story and once in a DLC story)

Now with the major problem out of the way let's go to the smaller problems:

- Not all characters from Beyond Gotham are back
- Not all characters are voiced (which would be fun for the early TT LEGO games but for a TT LEGO game with voice lines...eh...)

- You will not fight every Crime Syndicate member



Still, with only so few bad things and so many good things I highly recommend this game to any LEGO fan, DC fan, superhero fan and/or supervillain fan.

So before I played this game I heard that it is average or even that it is bad.
No, playing and 100%ing was really fun.

A massive downside to this game is maybe that it is too short. Especially after having 100%ed LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, which is a very, very long game for completionists, this is nothing in comparison when it comes to completion length.
Also scenes from the movies (yes, movies) are altered or not included at all. Speaking of which, make sure you watched both The Incredibles movies before playing this. Otherwise you may be confused about what's going on.

When I went into LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, I feared it might not be a good game but this was actually a really fun experience. It's great, but it's also flawed.

Pros:

- A massive world to explore, with even more things to do.
- The world is VERY varied.
- An immense load of characters to play and unlock.
- Very obscure characters in the roster.
- Many team combos.
- Really lovely visuals.
- Really lovely soundtrack. Whether it is from Guardians of the Galaxy or the music in the Old West or underwater/Lemuria. It's very pleasant to the ears.

Cons:
- Okay, let me get the most obvious one out of the way first: No Fantastic Four and, what's even worse for me, NO X-MEN!!! It's not the fault of the developers though.
- MIssions are, with some exceptions, rather forgettable.
- In free play you can NOT go to a certain part of a mission. Didn't see a minikit just before the end of the mission? Well, tough luck, you have to do it all over again!
- Speaking of missions, the first underwater mission is REALLY boring.
- The compass/radar sometimes disappears.
- There are crashes. Mostly in the campaign, especially when you free-play the campaigns.

This is how a remake is properly done! I absolutely love it!

First off, this is not good. It is OKAY.

I really love the combat, parcours and arenas.

However, it also has many glitches and stupid AI in free play...

While this might be the weakest LEGO Star Wars game, it is still a blast to play. The quirky quest givers sure help.

I had a crash once though, but nothing gamebreaking.

If this game is worth getting or not now where The Skywalker Saga is out, depends on you. This has content that is not in The Skywalker Saga though.

Also, a tip: Depending on what protocol droid you use for the translation missions, they will say different things.

I will be honest, I didn't expect this game to be as fun as it eventually turn out to be. Yeah, it is not as good as LEGO MARVEL Super Heroes, but I still enjoyed it - especially the open world, which has a lot of locations you can fly to (even though every location except for Manhattan and I guess Asgard are rather small). There are also a lot of quirky quest givers and you can replay most of the quests. However, that can also be confusing since the quest marker will tell you EVERY quest location, even of those you already did.

Shame there is no X-Men DLC though (yeah, I know about the Fox/MARVEL thing).

In 2021, where I played this game for the first time I wouldn't have recommended or picked "later maybe". Why? Well, it was very glitchy. First, Chase would go through the platform on the crane, making the mission with the ship where you have to chase gangsters impossible. Luckily there was a fix for that but then in the mission with the Bluebell Mine, Chase would not move at all after the first cutscene finished. Now I tried to play this game again at the end of last year and none of these glitches appeared or any other glitches I could think of. However, some crashes and frame drops after reaching 50% or so occured. But the frame drops went away after a while. Those didn't make the game unplayable though, as I have completed it to 100%. Anyways, this game has really fun missions and a lot to discover in the free roam. The open world is THAT immense!

I just wish there would've been a car radio...
