Bought game and gifted it to a friend. Thought that it had online co-op and it turns out that it doesn't. Do not recommend.

Also this is not a Star Trek game really. It's more like someone made a game and decided to use Star Trek's name to get people to buy into it.

This game is stuck in the past due to it's engine. Bad physics, NPC reactions and this game is often called "Loading Simulator" due to it's constant loading screens. The graphics are not modern and this game just does not compare to today's games on the market. This game was highly over hyped and priced.

The decisions to add a "New Game +" to the game just shows you that there is a total lack of content compared to today's games. The developer lets modders do the work of fixing this games' issues or to add content that it should already have.

Was a great game....when it came out on console. In its current version the sound is terribly loud and changing the values for sound volume does absolutely nothing. It crashes a lot.

It would be good if Rockstar gave this gem an update.

Released horribly buggy (in a first day patch that made the game completely unplayable from the starting menu) after several months of changing the release date. Horribly unprofessional programming methodology used. Doesn't seem like they had any QA for this game and released it in a state that required an immediate patch. I reported 4 bugs that should not have existed; 2 of which were achievements not working. Other bugs I found had already been reported. Its difficult to play a game and be immersed in it with so many issues.

The game doesn't seem optimised for city management. It is incredibly hard with no difficulty settings and you only learn the right thing to do by researching the right technology early on. Which you don't know until it's likely too late and you have to start over. In time it is likely the devs will work this out but right now it isn't in the greatest shape.

The game has a nice story and is intriguing but suffers from issues that should not exist in a game that wasn't released as Early Access.

I was excited for this game's release after trying the demo. It is an awesomely different type of game that is unique in itself. But the idea is only as good as it's implementation and Bulwark Studios really did a number on this one. BS, you set yourself up to fail. You should have given yourself 2 more weeks of polish at the very least.

Early Access Review
It shows potential to be a great game. If they add in multiplayer and it'll be awesome. I like to play games with friends more than solo play games.

The map needs to be bigger and they still have a lot of work to do but I've already played 47 hours and I'm happy with that. I look forward to the future. Love this game.

Early Access Review
Over 400 hours of gameplay. Highly recommended for anyone who likes to design things and also protect your base from bugs.

After figuring out that I can load non-steam games I loaded with just a click-and-dragging of the folder for "Mass Effect" onto Dimmdrive's screen. Before when I last played the game the loading screens were at least 30 seconds or more. Now with Dimmdrive it's down to 3 seconds.

-EDIT-
I was asked the question below in comments for this review:
"Plus how many seconds to load the file into DimmDrive to start with?

Plus how many extra seconds to load DimmDrive & partition the RAM?"

This is my response:
3-5 minutes. But when waiting for the actual game to load screens, the wait is worth it. While you are playing the experience is smoother and that's the part that matters most.

My computer is top of the line so sending files to the RAM is fast using a SATA drive. The thing that's most noticable is the load time that I don't have to experience while playing. While not playing I can grab a drink and a sandwich before it does its work. Also I don't have to be waiting for it to move the files. I am able to do other stuff like reading my email and looking up the daily news while this process happens so I don't even notice it anyway as Dimmdrive does this automatically on startup.

If you don't understand the benefit of the program you don't need to buy it. Part of the benefit is the interface is super easy to use especially with Steam games. Even easy to use with other non-Steam stuff if you use the aforementioned click and drag technique.
