Simply the best sandbox game currently available.

If you like the building/crafting aspects of games like Dwarf fortress, Rimworld, Minecraft, Astroneer, Terraria, Starbound, ... then you absolutely NEED to get this.

Factorio is not too complicated when you get going, but it has enough depth for hundreds of hours of playtime.
It is also amazing to play in Multiplayer with friends (or strangers).

The developers are awesome (early-release is more feature-complete than many full-price games, bugs are very rare and fixed immediately).

The flipside is that the game is addicting as hell, so better not buy it immediately before exams or real-life obligations.
