A brief review of Homefront's multiplayer:


Likes:

- Every weapon (besides one) is unlocked by leveling up in multiplayer matches; there isn't really any "pay to win" here.

- Ground vehicles and the helicopters are far from "invincible", though they are still quite powerful. But recklessness will be punished by RPGs, among other counters.

- Almost every weapon is viable in some way, so choosing one comes down to personal preference.


Dislikes:

- The Express 870 Shotgun. Can one-shot in close quarters, has a quick refire rate, and has a disturbing effective range.

- No active repairs for vehicles, only the "Monkey Wrench" passive perk. And that's the very last unlock.

- No 'zoom' feature for your minimap; it's fixed at a relatively close zoom. Your full map can be viewed quickly using a single button, but still.


Do I recommend this game? YES.
