It starts off fun and gets better as you learn a bit but then as you learn it suddenly starts getting less and less fun. There really isn't much here. There are several builds that work but it's never actually all that fun. I turn up the 2x times speed then drop the ball and look away. It's no longer all that interesting.

After 15 hours, I unlocked everything there was to unlock. I can't say anything that I did unlock really was all that fun either. In the end, no matter what build you are going for...it's really not that much fun anymore. Once I beat the first difficulty all the way through...it was over and I uninstalled. I don't want to ever play again. It's not a "bad" game it's just nothing actually special. Most will compare it too Balatro and for good reason, but Balatro remains fun. You'll get hundreds of hours out of that. Hell I'm over 100 hours into Balatro and I don't have everything unlocked yet. There is a ton for me left to do.

For what I spent...sure this game was fine but honestly....just pass on this one. Go get Balatro if you haven't already.

I guess I don't get it. I can only imagine all these reviews are from POE 1 fanboys. This game is nothing special "So far" and all your reviews are based off of a couple hours of play. The world is dull. The towns are bland. The NPCs are bland. The fighting is slow and clunky. There is no early guiding story it just plops you down in a boring world to kill monsters. D4 for all it's problems...is better. It's way better. Season 6 made that game actually solid.

Beyond how boring this is so far...the technical issues are insane. This was a very poor launch. Where were the stress tests? No early character creation? No name reserving? Couldn't even login for the first 4 hours and even after that, it's constant DC's. This morning I thought it would be better but I can't get on for more than a minute.

Hype and fanboys.

It's a very fun game....for a couple hours. If this was $1.99 or free I'd be fine but it gets old very quick. It's very easy except for a few specific fights. If you don't build exactly for those fights, you'll be destroying everything and then just die to Jupiter for example. There is no real strategy beyond that, just refreshing till you find items for your build. The characters are not unique enough and their individual abilities don't matter all that much.

Overall it feels like a complete game but it shouldn't be. This needs much more to make it a good game. Unlockables. More unique characters. Some major shop features besides refresh. Bag space upgrades. Better merging mechanics. Save set options with bigger bag (Let me save sets to switch too for various fights) Some rogue like features perhaps.

It's clearly a Fire Emblem style game and well...yea surface level. It's missing all the charm and progression that makes FE good though. The combat is here but it's boring. There is no fun hidden stages and recruitments. One of my favorite things is going into a match, seeing a named character and wondering if I can recruit them. That just isn't here.

New characters are thrown at you every other match that are higher level than your other characters and, in many cases, are better. There is almost no reason to develop your original characters. I picked Cia to be the character that gets all my kills and gets just broken good and, she is for the most part, but I just got another rogue that is nearly as good. Why bother struggling to raise a character when better or similar is just given?

Evolving them is there but simple. Nothing special here. There isn't really any reason to pick one over the other. The game isn't challenging enough nor does the rock, paper, scissor weapon system really matter. I never pay attention to if someone is weak or strong vs my attack.

Overall it doesn't even scratch that FE itch. It's honestly boring. I am trying my best to finish it but...I don't know if I can. I'd say, pass on this one. Just got play one of the newer FE games or replay the older ones instead.

There is no matchmaking. The discord has no way to find others to play with besides directly messaging random people. The discussion page is barely active so you can't find people there to play with. There is no way to play this game unless you know people who also want to play it. I refunded it for that reason alone. I bought it and haven't been able to play it yet.

Second major issue is the controls. By far the worst control scheme in a game. Who thought using "O" to select things and "P" to use things was a good idea? Also, how did that make it through testing and feedback? No proper controller support and no way to change keybinds. Only about 400 active players day one. This game is going to be DOA sadly.

Game is just boring. There is barely anything to do. Go play any other survival crafting game.

Base building is tedious and lame. Food / Farming is lame. Combat is nothing special. There is just no motivation to push you forward. Maybe because it's in EA and missing most it's features but this game is a whole lot of nothing.

The map is massive and takes forever to get anywhere...while you travel there is just nothing but trees. The game is empty.

I loved the old school Star Oceans but they just are a failed series at this point. People will talk highly about the new combat system but it's honestly nothing special, it's just better than the other systems in the former games. It's simple smashing of a couple buttons, no skill needed.

I couldn't really get far enough to really see if the story evolved but the characters start off very lame. Voice acting is as bad as it gets. The faces are like dolls and lips don't match at all.

Was amazing but now it's a dead game unless you speak Chinese. There are no English servers.

At first I thought this was a fun game similar to Terraria or Minecraft. Then I was happy to see it was actually like playing a game similar to Terraria, Minecraft and Stardew Valley. THEN I was even happier to see it was a game that was similar to Terraria, Minecraft, Stardew Valley AND Factorio. It's almost like the devs looked at my game list and said yea...let's combine some of the top games in his library and make a game.

I'm not sure if I'll get hundreds of hours or not out of the game. I think I'm mid way through perhaps but I just don't know. I know I am having a ton of fun though and I'm not only excited to see what is available now but what will be around years from now.

You know...if you like watching your opponent play with themselves until they blow their load then this is the game for you I guess. If you like whatever garbage yugioh has become then go for it but this game is trash.

Every card literally has over 100+ words of text and there are thousands of cards. You can't keep up with what everything does. Your opponent's turns last upwards of 3-5 minutes of them pulling out cards from their deck, hand and GY and playing cards and special summoning and link summoning and fusion and pendulum and this and that and it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ boring.

This game, you don't play against an opponent. You see which one of you can jerk it the fastest and win. You only play with yourself. It doesn't matter what your opponent has..you just wipe the field and play your cards...then if you don't for some reason kill them with the 5 5000 atk dragons you summoned in one turn, your opponent then does the same thing. Matches are close...they aren't epic...it's just play half your deck and win or fail to do it and your opponent will. It's not just this game but yugioh in general that is broken.
