Slay the Spire meets Starfleet Command. Worth every penny and I'm stoked to see where this goes.. Some of the ships are a challenge to get working well though. The ships are essentially different classes, there's 4 kinds of resources to manage and a genuine decision making process to choose which cards to keep or lose and multiple enemy intentions are on multiple timers that can be interacted with. It's a genuine rush to dismantle an enemy ship one system at a time but it needs a few gameplay tweaks.

Feedback for devs if y'all here:

- Not seeing the full starmap is a doozy because it's difficult to make informed decisions about what route you're going to take around the map.

- Less combat and more creative events as well as maybe more meaningful ways to upgrade your ship helps. It's difficult to justify not just putting more money into your reactor.

- Going to a hangar at a dock and seeing no useful components is a little painful. Going to a shop in STS, almost all the options tend to be somewhat useful in your deck. Here, I've had runs with multiple hangars having zero usable components there so either it makes sense to just not show them or only have usable options for the equipment you have already or can buy.

- Adding 2 clicks to visit the bar and raise morale is a default option so there's no reason not to just have it be automatic.

- Replacing a component is a little painful since you essentially nerf your own deck a little if you want to pivot strategies later in a run with a new weapon.

- Hand size being largely the same through the run makes it feel a little under powered when you're at the system 2 boss. Maybe an option to upgrade hand size with a component makes sense, atleast for the Lancer and Firebrand?

If I'm being honest, this game is last of the shamelessly sexy MK's and while it's probably better that way, its a shame to see it go. A great game but also a historical record of a sort. Gameplay wise, it's an instant classic and you should of course play it. That said, MKX and the Injustice series are less technically and mechanically dated than this. Also screw the micro transactions that kicked in with Injustice 2 onward, it's a tragedy.

PRA1SE THE 0MN15SIAH. M4Y HE G4ANT US ET3RNAL L1FE FREED 0F THE CO9FIN3S OF OUR M04TAL FLESH.

Amazing turn based strategy. Highly recommended. The aesthetic is a HUGE draw for me as a 40K fan and the music and the sound design are Amazing for a mid-budget game. Worth every penny if you enjoy the likes of X-Com with some roguelike components thrown in for good measure!

BIG PINCH OF SALT WITH THE YES: Cool and fun but honestly, don't play this unless you've tired of Slay the Spire first. Its' not as good and honestly seems like they've added a bunch of mechanics and complications instead of simple stuff that interacts well like STS does. Gameplay wise, it's a good solid roguelike deckbuilder game with a fun gameplay loop but honestly: Get through a few ascension levels in STS first.

Also the theme and style is just weird to me. I don't think I understand why the literal judeo-christian hell has factions that correspond to Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Duskull and Litwick (Hellborn does make perfect sense to me though). Not a huge fan of the theming overall... Seems like there could've been far better themes for this.. Hell, I can think of at least two more sensible themes this could've worked with.

Amazing game. Rewards skill and attention to detail with some meaty AF difficulty if you're really into that sort of thing. This is prettymuch exactly what it says on the box and much much more.

Enter the GUNgeon? More like Enter the FUNgeon. 10/10 Fantastic frenetic fun with lots of good puns and pop culture refs thrown in. Would play again. You may like Dead Cells too if you like this (and vice versa).

Pros:
- Great game. Not going to sit here and talk about this for miles but it is a good. solid. game. Play it if you like complicated CCGs like playing difficult decks in MTG.
- Good art and voice acting/effects. Well polished and presented overall

Cons:
- Clear meta: There's some really obviously good cards so if constructed is your jam, you will need to get those or constantly get crushed by them. There are two to three fantastic heroes in each color and every. single. match. you will see those combined into a deck of just good stuff that stomps all over you. This is my biggest grief about this and the way to fix this is sadly just going to be by nerfing something that (by now) people have paid good money for OR adding new content that hoses these Tier 1 heroes but that doesnt do anything to make the other heroes any more viable. Like mechanically the game is great but balance wise, I can't see how they fix this without pissing SOMEONE off.
