I loved this game so much. It reminded me a lot of Ogre Battle from way back in the day. My only complaint is that it kept me up way past my bedtime on too many work nights. I always wanted to play just one more map. And then of course, just a few more minutes managing my squads after completing the map, which would eat up another hour.

The pacing of the story vs gameplay is great. You don't spend countless minutes clicking through endless dialogue (I'm looking at you Triangle Strategy). The lines are straight to the point, yet manage to tell a very compelling story with some shocking twists. The art is whatever. It's not winning any awards for visuals, but it works.

If you're looking for large-scale, turn-based tactics battles with very customise-able squad management and an interesting story, this one is for you.

Very cool game for such a small team with zero budget. It is a tense, polished experience that is well worth the tiny price tag. Keep it up indie devs!
