The game is like popcorn, once you start you just keep taking bites.

Matches are nicely timed (~5min per match) so they don't outlast their welcome. characters are fun and creative, monetization is fair.

Some qol things like a training mode, replays and better stats will hopefully be added later down the line.

Early Access-recension
*The Good*
- Double battle system is fun and well thought out, considering this is a monster battle game this is the most important aspect imo
- The world is charming and colorful
- TemTem variety is good

*The Meh*
- The NPCs and player characters faces look either look goofy or horrific
- The music is alright but nothing really stood out to me
- Breeding, imo it's a side grade to Pokemon breeding, you have more control but it's a lot more passive (waiting for timers) and quite cost intensive (initially) due to the items being one shot only
- Story is, fine - it's a bog standard Pokemon story so far and does it's job adequately

*The Bad*
- The pansun (money) grind is repetitive and boring until you can get perfect breeding going, don't want to breed? Well enjoy endlessly catching things in the same optimal spot
- Luma (shiny) hunting is worse than pokemon relying on a flat luma rate of 1/8000 (used to be 1/600). There are currently no mechanics (like pokeradar) to reduce this in wold encounters

I can tentatively recommend TemTem for the first 20-40hrs, as the story is quite fun and battle system is very good. However don't go in expecting a rich and varied endgame yet as it just doesn't exist.

Tight controls, lively animation, awesome music. Haven't enjoyed a platformer as much as this since Shovel Knight.
Would highly recommend.

Fun free to play experience with continous updates. While by no means perfect it's a game that you can sink hundreds of ohurs into.

Faithful, easier to learn and more visually pleasing version of Blood Bowl.

Cyanide's post launch support has also been excellent.

Simply amazing. Owned it on PS3 had to buy it on PC.

If you don't have it you're missing out.
