Great roguelite game. Love the art style. I am not always into blood and guts. So the comic style colourful robots are excellent. Every class and weapon will fit a certain play style for everyone which mimic overwatch characters or other guns that might tickle your fancy. Just like Bricky mentions, its very much like doom and you'll want to keep playing it over and over to unlock all the stuff.

Been trying out some sandbox building games and this is a good start point with the simpler schematics to put together. This game walks you through building some basic ones designs in the lost in space mode. The great thing about this mode is that it is a good introduction to all the basic parts. And as you gain all these parts, you have the freedom to come up with your own designs. Very rewarding experience to come up with a different design from the templates and you see it work!

I have tried scrap mechanic and I love how that game provides you access to limitless possibilities. But Scrap Mechanic doesn't give you any direction whereas Trailmakers does and I find this is more my pace. Although, I will eventually go back to Scrap Mechanic if I find the right inspiration for a project that might not work in Trailmakers.
