If you're expecting a sequel to NMRiH you'll be disappointed.
This game bares no resemblance to the original game but it has potential to stand on its own.

- High density of ammo meaning there is no point in reserving ammunition
- Severe lack of that ambiance of horror and doom.
- There is no multiple endings to the map even though it's one map
- No infection
- No child zombies or equivalents replacement
- Health, map and objectives are all visible as well as nearby players that are in your party
- No text chat
- Simplistic puzzles
- Voice chat occassionally just stops working and it's not obvious when it does
- Explosives sounds are pretty basic, and the VFX are bad
- Hit registration gets bad when more zombies spawn
- Unkillable crawling zombies
- Floating parts around zombies heads (like a portion of broken just floating in the air)
- Menu UI is terrible, radial menu removed
- Zombie melee is incredibly hard to gauge distance and seems inconsistent
- Lunging zombies animation is not consistent
- Zombies knocked down can just float in mid air if not killed
- Zombies can just spontaneously spawn behind you
- Unskippable cutscene
- Lack of accessibility options (The one they have isn't even accessibility, it's to change your crosshair to be visible)
- Inability to push and walk over zombies
- Gameplay is very dated, lacking a lot of polish
- Doesn't look at all well optimized
- Melee should get an overhaul, it's basic and I was surprised Torn Banner didn't strip down what was built before and add a more comprehensive melee system.
