Reminds me of Shapez.io but with a video editing timeline that you use to make complex machinery create desired products. It's mind-bending in a very satisfying way. I'm probably going to end up putting way too many hours into this, considering you can download other player's level ideas from the workshop.

Spent 3 days carefully planning fortifications for my home, scrounging fuel for the generator, building some basic self defense tools, and setting a trap or two. Went out on morning 3 and got killed by a moose. 10/10 horror experience.

Not sure why lately the game has started getting hate. I see arguments about it not having any horror after "the fort", which is just straight up untruthful. I see people complaining it's set in a desert, when over half of it is set in a cyclopean city ala lovecraft. I see people complain that the puzzles are too easy when they actually require you to put in a little thought a lot of the times. I wouldn't rate this above Soma or TDD, but it's definitely a far sight better than Machine for Pigs, and I don't think it's a waste of time for anyone who is a fan of Frictional games.

I dunno if I've ever seen a game wholly encompass basically every kind of horror that exists like this, and also do so well at it. Atmospheric, Pyschological, Existential, Environmental, Body horror, (just a couple) Jump Scares, as well as multiple phobias such as fear of the uknown, ocean, dark, claustrophobia, etc.

From the second the intro segment ends, it stays intense in one way or another, either with story-telling, fear, suspense, or mystery all the way up until the ending that gives huge Black Mirror vibes. It's also a great horror game without needing to use the added stress of resource management to give the "survival" feeling, which I personally found to make the whole experience a lot more fun rather than tedious.

The hype is real, and I didn't expect to say that this is hands down Frictional Game's magnum opus over Amnesia:TDD, but it is. I bought it a long time ago and just got around to playing it for October 2021 and I regret having slept on it for so long. You're doing yourself a disservice by not playing this if you're at all a horror fan.

Lady requested healing potion for her lazy husband who pinched his hand in the gate. I sold her a healing potion with a sleeping side-effect. She happily purchased. I laughed. 10/10

In all seriousness, this is already a very fun concept that the devs obviously have even more planned for in the future. I'm all about it and can't wait to see where it goes.

If I had one nitpick so far it's just that it's not made clear if there's any sort of option if you screw yourself on ingredients by exploring ahead in the potion map. I had a day where i had to turn down several customers and set myself way back to the point of feeling i may need to restart. It's also impossible to know that there's nothing to find on the outside edges of the map early game, so wasting those ingredients was a really bad idea.

An amazing, story-driven, immersive, first-person experience. This is a direct sequel to 2033, so make sure to pick up 2033 redux and play through that first, as it is also very good. I had a couple of problems with crashes, and had to restart one mission due to a corrupt checkpoint, but it wasn't enough to make me give up on this otherwise amazing game.

Make sure to download the mod "Doom 3 Enhanced edition." If you don't want to get that mod for its pretty much necessary fixes, consider the BFG edition instead.

If you've never played Doom 3, don't expect the same experience as any of the other games. This is a slower, slightly more tactical, horror fps, rather than the fast paced arcade-ey fps that the rest of the series is. Honestly, it kind of makes sense if you've played the other Doom games that a guy who isn't the Doom Slayer would be having a creepier, slower, and more methodical time trying to fight off the demons.

I would only recommend this if you're a VERY big fan of American Mcgee. Otherwise, it's just a (very) poor man's version of Katamari Damacy, which you should pick up instead for this kind of gameplay. It's buggy, the voicelines are annoying, and the humor is attempting to be dark, but coming off juvenile most of the time.

I've played Satisfactory for quite a number of hours, and this is a cool little diversion that focuses more on the problem solving, rather than the prerequisite resource gathering. Definitely a chill game that will tease your brain a bit.

Kinda late on this one and I can't believe I slept on it this long. If you're a Star Wars fan, you're doing yourself a disservice by not playing it. If you're not a Star Wars fan, but are a fan of challenging games similar to Sekiro, then it's still probably worth playing just for how fun the gameplay is.
