The main game is awesome. A combination of Legend of Zelda and really tight platformer mechanics. The combat isn't the best, but the exploration and puzzles are very good.
The free dlc on the other hand, is like some kind of cruel joke on the part of the developers. The difficulty is akin to that of Mario Maker levels. I'm a patient person, but I eventually uninstalled the game from frustration and won't be coming back to it. Do yourself a favor and only attempt the dlc if you're a person with near infinite patience.

This game is an absolute genius work of art that everyone should experience. It does some things that start off feeling like a gimmick but end up being extremely emotional at the end of it all. Much like Doki Doki or Undertale, the first playthrough isn't it, so make sure to use your wits and make it let you play again. ; ) You'll get what I mean when you reach that point.

Looks like the crashing may be fixed.
The game is making Sony ponies salty af (or rather the mod community is) so as glorious pc master race, highly recommend.
Also if you got a 4k monitor and high end rig, you need this in your collection for sure. It's glorious.

Much more fun than World as a beginner Monster Hunter player. Does a great job of teaching all the mechanics compared to World, and the new traversal options (palamute riding and the grapple bug things) are awesome. Plus now I can play Monster Hunter without feeling like I'm way behind everyone else.
If you're thinking about buying it, but worried about the save file glitch, just buy it and refund if you get the glitch until they fix it.

Release day edit: 4 more jobs with 1.0! This game was already a great value. I think anyone who needs some chill time would be doing themselves a favor by picking this up!

It's hard to explain why this game is amazing. You just have to try it and find out that it is. Super chill. I got a little over 30 hours of content out of the campaign and one special level, and it's still just early access. Definitely worth it imo. Love it!

It's awesome that such a small team made something that looks and feels this good. It has its issues, but to be honest, it's better than some AAA titles considering the size of the team that made it. The biggest thing that will probably irk most people is that it's barely two hours long. It's so much fun, that it will definitely be worth replaying a couple of times, though, so you can probably bank on more like 4-6 hours by the time you do a few play-throughs. If that's not enough for you, then wait for a sale.

This is not an adult only game you should buy if you're looking for something "sexy." This is a pretty legitimate horror game that uses sex as a theme, as your character is entrapped in a rivalry between two depraved Lovecraftian sex cults.
My immediate worry was that this was going to be a repeat of "Agony Unrated", but I was pleasantly surprised. The game doesn't rely on shock factor only, and doesn't go so overboard with it when they do use it.

The weakest part of the game is probably in the combat/stealth as both are probably too easy and amount to either tanking a hit in order to kill an adversary, putting a pistol point blank in someone's face and pulling the trigger, or just running a short distance so that the AI resets. There is also a sanity system that didn't really have much of an effect on gameplay, and didn't feel like was actually a risk to ending my run at any given time. Boss fights amount to some simple puzzles on timing when and where to shoot, nothing too memorable about them.

Overall the game shines due to its level design, aesthetic, and a story that grabbed me and kept me interested until the end. There seem to be at least two endings that unfortunately seem to require two full playthroughs to see (as far as I could tell, the last auto save occured after the big choice was made, and I didn't see a way to replay chapters or manual save.) It's one of those things where while I'm not going to go through again right now, but I definitely will revisit this at a later spooky season to see the other ending.

I recommend this to those looking to immerse themselves in a well crafted horror world, not necessarily those who are looking for a very engaging gameplay experience.
I can also highly recommend this to anyone who is a big fan of H.R. Giger artwork, as there are some very obviously heavy influences in the other world you'll be visiting during the game, and it's probably the best Giger tribute we'll see until Scorn releases (if it ever does.)

This may be one of the cutest games I've ever played. I'd love to see more from this universe in the future. It's basically Undertale meets Soul Eater. It's completely free, so there's no reason not to play this hidden little gem.
