Straight up: The fact that this game doesn't have Overwhelmingly Positive reviews on steam is just crazy to me. It's pretty much a perfect rpg. So well written, very replayable, great mystery to solve. What else do you want?
Edit: I now understand why it doesn't have overwhelmingly positive reviews. Guy who owns the company now bought it with the company's own money. He's a scam artist that was arrested and forced to pay millions for running a pyramid scheme frequently. Don't buy the game anymore, you're supporting absolute scumbags if you do.

Cons:
-Doesn't run super well. 30-40 fps on a 2070 on medium-high settings. Ray tracing will drop you sub 30.
-If you have problems with texture flickering on DX12, switching to DX11 seems to be the only fix.
-Stealth and chase segments that usually result in a cheap death before you had much of any time to react to the fact that you were now in a stealth or chase segment

Pros:
-Engaging mystery and story
-Good spooky themes
-Pretty good voice acting
-Unique puzzles using the "dual worlds" mechanics
-Beautiful Environment design
-AKIRA F***ING YAMAOKA! (For the uninformed, Silent Hill's soundtrack composer did the soundtrack for this and that means it's amazing.)

Edit: Post game ending, my review still stays pretty much the same, other than to say I really loved this game, and I wish it was longer. If you don't find 50 bucks to be enough to justify an 8 hour experience, then maybe wait for a sale, otherwise, I highly recommend it. Even the few problems I had with the game's performance didn't kill this experience for me at all.

Remniscent of the old rpg-maker horror games, but extremely polished.
-Awesome writing
-Awesome survival horror gameplay mechanics that feel fun and not frustrating
-Great puzzles that challenge, but aren't impossible for anyone who has a little patience and problem solving skill.
-Soundtrack isn't super amazing so far, but it's definitely good.
-If you ever played old games such as The Witch's House and liked them, you gotta get this.
Could tickle the fancy of fans of Silent Hill, Amnesia and the like, so long as you have an appreciation for retro inspired sprite graphics.
Mid-game rating: 10/10 (will update if that changes by the end)
Literal only downside: It can crash to desktop if you alt-tab sometimes, and borderless is a little laggy, so try setting it to borderless if you need to change windows, and back to fullscreen once you return to game.

Gives me Shadow Warrior vibes for the game play, definitely not for the writing. It's very short, but we're getting the full Bright Memory Infinite for free for owning this, and I'm definitely down for more, so that's good enough for me. Overall, it was pretty fun. A good attempt at bringing the idea of flowing combat like in a DMC game into a first person shooter with emphasis on using all of your abilities in addition to just your weapons.
My one recommendation to the dev: Grappling to an enemy felt more dangerous than useful. Maybe tweak it so we can add a short time freeze onto the enemy for grappling to them, or have the character automatically jump away from them after a quick kick to the face or something.

Pros:
-Beautiful open world
-Some of the best side quests and hilarious encounters
-Immersive rootin' tootin' cowboy experience
-You can pet dogs
-You can "yee haw" onto your horse from a tavern balcony
Cons:
-No checkpoints before tertiary encounters. Entire sidequests can be rendered pointless with no reward for making the wrong decision, or a mistake, with no way to undo besides reloading an older save. Some interesting encounters can be lost and difficult/impossible to find again if you die during the encounter.
-Some parts are "too realistic" Example: Cougars are stealthy and instantly kill you. This can happen while you're out trying to track a legendary animal or doing something else important.
-Very long horse rides that require constantly tapping the same key in a rhythm to reduce travel time. Game could've used more fast travel points
-Not much weapon variety. You can fully customize your initial revolvers and not much will ever be better than those.

For the above reasons, I definitely recommend playing through the main story and hitting up any side quests you come across, but I can only recommend doing legendary hunting and tertiary objectives(bounty hunting is the best if you want to do any of them) for completion if you absolutely hate yourself.

Call it a walking simulator or a parcel delivery simulator all you want. I haven't played many other walking simulators that had me carefully delivering an antimatter bomb over the rocky mountains, though. Game gets super intense, incredibly immersive, and constantly rewards your efforts with interesting lore and new equipment. It may not be for everyone, but I have had so much fun with the experience.

Pros : Really really fun to get drunk and play with friends
Cons: Still going to need a lot of polish to bring it beyond a fun game to play drunk with your friends once or twice.

I recommend this with a big disclaimer:
If you have the time to learn an incredibly in depth building system, this game is extremely in depth and theoretically amazing.
If you don't have the time for that (like me), this game probably won't be your thing. It's incredibly overwhelmingly complex, and that's either going to be a very strong trait to you, or a deal-breaker if you just don't have time to get into that like me.

Viking Lumberjack Simulator 2021. Normally not really a big fan of survival games, but I'm having fun with this.

Spooky, lovecraftian, unique. Worth the price if you don't mind short games for 5 bucks.
