When X Rebirth was first released I along with many others were very disappointed in what I saw.
Then I thought to myself, Hang on, This is Egosoft here, they NEVER abandon their games, maybe this can be fixed..
So I settled in for the wait, read all the negative reviews, watched soo many you tube videos of people slamming rebirth, thinking all along, I know they going to fix it..
Sure, I admit, egosoft stuffed up badly (more than they ever have in the past) but I had faith (and no I am not a fanboy, I just love the X series (I been playing them for over 12 years))

I started playing properly once Egosoft opened up the beta program to all (which I joined in on), now we are at v3.10 and I thought it was time to say something..

X Rebirth has come a long way since it was released, now I can honestly say that it is well worth playing.
They have changed a lot of things the players wanted changed, they have actually listened to the players, and have even taken the unheard of step in actually talking and listening to players on their forums (which before rebirth this was almost unheard of)
There are still things that need fixing, but the modding community is getting behind Egosoft and are making mods that pick up things which Egosoft have not put into the game (yet?)

All in all, my rating for x rebirth AT RELEASE would have been a 3/10 - NOW I would give it a 8/10.
With all the mods that are being released things keep getting better... - Give it a go, you may be in for a suprise...

Well, it is definetly not up to the stronghold series, but in saying that I am enjoying it :)
Soo many negative comments , thats fair enough as everyones entitled to their opinion, but for the sale price I still consider this a bargin :)
