This game is an endless chore of being jerked around from arena encounter to arena encounter while constantly being out of ammo and making run of the mill mobs from prior games feel like boss enounters if you're out of the particular ammo type to neutralize their special ability. You are constantly running for your life while trying to juggle abilities to recover ammo, health, or armor. The end result is that you feel less like a powerful 'Doom Slayer' and more like a weak NPC just trying to survive against all odds.
