End of an era would be the best way to describe this game. Superhero games have had a very positive/negative approval. Positive being Spider-Man 2 and negative Superman 64, but Rocksteady created 3 incredibly faithful games to Batman that showed superhero games can be great.

Sadly this games launch on PC has probably left a sour taste for the series due to the issues which can say I never experienced.

Now to the game itself - if you've played Batman Arkham Asylum and City heck even Origins you need to play this it brings the series to a very faithful end tying up plot points from the previous games and even the mythos of Batman itself. The game plays smooth as Batman could be argued in this game is at his physical prime how quickly he moves during fear takedowns is fun as hell, combat more of the same and at the same time BRUTAL. Seriously you how some enemies don't die from some of the environment takedowns? Introduced is the Batmobile which is fun as hell to drive, sadly the story as said by many reviewers does use it once to often esecially later (urgh).

Last note to say the voice performances are fantastic. Troy Baker especially being a favorite during some of the tapes that are unlocked doing riddles.

Overall: Buy this game with all DLC as it's certainly cheap enough now.
