Blaze Rush is a Micro-Machines style top down combat racer, with strong game play, and excellent visuals. Weapons and boosts appear as "drops," that get kicked around the map, letting players tactically deny options to each other.

The campaign has diverse challenges, and should entertain for several hours.

The Oculus Ridft support is frankly AMAZING. The camera moves in a natural way to follow the action, and allows the player to move their head to get a better view of what's coming. The cars and course are rendered in beautiful 3D, and the sense of scale perfectly conveys the "hotwheels" feel that the developers were going for.

Crypt of the NecroDancer is amazing. The procedural dungeons and drops make every delve unique, and the thumping beat means the game action is always fast. Combining enements of Rogue-like dungeon crawlers and rhythm games, it makes a very unique, and extremely fun addition to your library.

Planetary Annihilation follows in the footsteps of Supreme Commander.
Players are given the tools needed to manage military units in real time, across and epic battlefield.

The single player campaign provides unique game play opportunities, as players are restricted to different techs each time.

I definitely recommend.

Megabyte Punch is a pretty good Super Smash Brothers clone where players get to build their fighters and their moves from the ground up. The fighting game play doesn't feel as "tight," as SSB's, but it's definitely fun.

It's also a whole lot of game. It's a split-screen co-op platformer, a customization / building game, and a tournament fighting game. Unfortunately, owners may find that they have to invest considerable time platforming to build a suitable stable of parts before the tournament game gets interesting.

I think a hard-core SSB player will find Megabyte-Punch to be runner-up to the original, but if a Nintendo is nowhere to be found, this game will still be a welcome addition to a couch party.

This has got to be the best local multiplayer experience of the year.
The gameplay is fast and simple, and the opportunity to build skill and increase reflex/response makes continued matches incredibly rewarding.

The co-op game mode is challenging, but through persistence and tribulation, good lay is rewarded with additional content unlocks.

As a single player experience, there are timed skill puzzles to complete, but the local multiplayer is really where Towerfall Ascension shines.

The gameplay is solid, but with constant invitations to purchase additional content on Live Marketplace, and requests that I post my runs on YouTube, I feel like the game is trying to exploit me. Seriously.
For example, when I start a race, I am given a list of cars to choose, a list that is bloated with all the DLC I don't own.

I'm going to look for a less exploitative rally game in this generation.
