I am a big fan of Paradox games in general when they are in the same vein as the EU, CK, or HOI series. Unfortunately, this game is not one that I can recommend based on my personal preferences. It is a very short time frame compared to the others, but unlike say HOI which is in a similar length of time, there just is not anything I found to keep me playing.

Graphically, it is quite nice, using the same engine as the most recent entries, but as strange as it is the primary focus being combat was just not satisfying in my mind. If your preference is focusing on the combat from either EU IV, or Victoria 2, this might be a good choice. Otherwise, I would stick with one of the other two (or four).

This is just my personal opinion though, as it should be noted that when I first purchased the game, I was looking for something to really bridge the gap, but as I said, it just was not for me.

This game has had near-infinite replay factor for me, and has been in my opinion one of the most accessable Paradox Interactive titles. It's shorter time span then CK:2 or EU:IV is not a hinderance, though I do hope that they eventually add a bit more flavour and variety to the post-world war environment.

Though there still isn't much in the line of "post-world war" variety.
