Tooth and Tail takes the core aspect of a resource base building RTS into a minimalistic approach, and it still doesn't loose too much complexity when it comes to strategy and the importance of unit composition. Though due to how the game randomize the maps, this also is true when it comes to single player campaign, which can be frustrating for some people.
Overall, Tooth and Tail bring something new and fresh to RTS genre.
