It's like Crawl meets Oxygen not Included. It's great.

Updating my review, because my last one was 8 hrs into the game and during very early access.

I've played a decent amount of Ready or Not, mostly multiplayer in the early access period.

I grew up playing Rogue Spear, SWAT 4 and all the Ghost Recon games. Over the past few years, there haven't really been any games that have really scratched that itch for me. A tactical shooter that is challenging but fun, in a world that is tense and engaging.

Ready or Not has become that game for me. The devs have made the true spiritual successor to the SWAT franchise and even more. Ready or Not stands on its own. There is no competitor to this game in the market. Void Interactive have created a truly unique game that can only really be compared to incredibly iconic games from the late 90s, early 2000s, which is a huge achievement.

Now with a single player campaign and vastly improved squad AI, this game is a ton of fun to play solo. The mission and level design is on another level. Each is truly unique in the challenges it poses and the tone of the mission you're undertaking.

I've played this game for a long time already and will be for likely years to come.

This game has some rough edges, but once you're in the thick of it, its a ton of fun.

You can easily get immersed in this game. On the night of release we had 6-7 people operating the different stations on the bridge and it was a blast. Initially its simple to operate the ship, but once you're into combat and dealing with enemy ships + aircraft the challenge ramps up significantly. Requires solid coordination and logistics.

Dope co-op shooter. Devs have done a good job updating this game over time.

Recently came back to this and the game had been given a pretty considerable amount of polish and progression layers which was awesome.

This is a go-to co-op shooter that doesn't require a ton of thinking. Drop in, blast waves of aliens, mine, escape alive.
