Fun.

Most unlockable content is on the multiplayer side. Enemy hordes get very dangerous and numerous as PvE difficulty increases.

Single player campaign is fairly short, but I enjoyed it.

This game is fun, no doubt.

Some times, the rng for bonuses (ascensions) isn't awesome, so you pick the least terrible.

Other times, the stars align and you create a ninja bird capable of drop kicking a whole room full of people and never fire a bullet. Or pull out the basic pistol and drop the enemies with a lightning tiger dropping bolts on every enemy with every shot you land.

Those builds make the game a blast to do "just one more run"

Really, the gameplay is just a sloppy Sekiro with some Force power elements baked in. Makes me wish I was playing that instead. Controls feels sluggish during some battles.

Mechanically, the game seems to break it's own rules. Some attacks stagger some enemies, some enemies are weak against a weak attack and stagger, but power straight through to hit you through a stronger attack. It doesn't make sense. Dodge works pretty much 100% of the time, except when it doesn't on some robot mercenary enemies with hitboxes the size of the screen.

It's difficulty comes in frustration and mechanical silliness that kills you, not because the enemies are very hard.

I can get past all that though. But the crappy story.... meh, Beat it, probably never play it again.

All around, it was OK.

Like Bastion and Dead Cells had a baby and bathed it in Greek mythology.

Excellent atmosphere, music, and voice acting in this game. I almost never take the time to write a review, so if you are reading this understand that I felt the need to tell you just how compelling this game is.

It pulls you in with a sympathetic AI on a mission to save her pilot. From there, it get weird... in a really cool way.

Check it out. I picked it up on sale for $5.

Would recommend waiting on a sale as it only took me about three hours to finish, though I did get really frustrated with one puzzle and looked it up. It would have taken me longer had work that day not been so dreadful and my patience had lasted a bit longer.
