Old school turn based RPG. Move as a party, grid based. Quest, fight, loot, level and repeat. A bit rough around the edges but recent patches have fixed the most glaring issues. I enjoyed it, it is just hard enough to keep you on your toes and there is enough vareity in characters, quests and spells to keep it interesting. There are some annoying bits like teleport and pressure plate puzzles, if you lack patience for these kinds of things you'll be reaching for a walkthrough to get past these. It is a long game, I spent ~60 hours on a play through. A bit of a slog toward the end but I remained hooked enough to finish it.
