It appears to me that game developers think its a super great idea to combine PvP & PvE in games. It doesn't work out like that, it just doesn't. Safe zones are exploited, game mechanics are exploited, always against the PvE'er. The only way to separate PvE & PvP is to have separate servers. You only cater to one crowd in a "PvP & PvE" game, and its the PvP'ers. I just want a single player game with the option of going online (coop or pvp for those others), OR an online game with the option of going offline for single player. I also want an option to opt out of "Ironman mode" (lose everything or start all over). I want to play for fun, not have a second non-paying job. I don't want to interact with idiots, and everyone online is an idiot. There is almost literally nothing for me to play because it's either online only, 'ironman mode', or so damn buggy it's not worth my time anymore (Early Access / beta). I'm starting to give up on games.

The COOP part in games stands for Cooperative play. I don't get why so many people see it as a competition, because it is not.
