I'm not sure I can explain the joy i'm having playing even just this early adopter version, i think about the only thing that can compare is stroking my new apocalypse beard that I've been growing since lock down. So many hackers in every game it's ruined what was a fun if buggy as hell game experience.

What a great piece of nostalgia, really well done. Thanks guys you took me back years, i enjoyed every minute of it. If you're old enought to have played these games first time round, this vist back to what was a seminal step in FPS games is a must for you.

So with the latest patch this game is close to what it should have been on release. I've fallen in love with playing it again and actually feel like i'm getting value for my dollars now. So, all I can is KUDOS to the decision makers and Devs at Hello games for sticking with this product and giving us all the great game we have today. I really hope there's more to come.

Mornic save game system can lead to some frustrating restarts and wasted game play other than that a great game

DON'T BUY IT

2 yrs of painfully slow development these guys are obviously on the take and have no real desire create anything vaguely resembling a finished product....teddy bears...really guys?!!! They can't be short of development funds they've sold over 2 million copies already.

Steam seriously need to take a long hard look at the Early Access model to stop shameless companies taking gamers for mugs. Shame on me of giving them my hard earned money.
