Over ten years later, Team Fortress 2 remains one of my favorite multiplayer games. While I can still recommend this game at this point, I wish Valve would again give this game the attention it desperately needs to both retain and expand its player base. With regular and great updates, this could have stood toe-to-toe with Overwatch. Despite owning and playing hundreds of hours of Overwatch, I still find myself frequently coming back to Team Fortress 2. Thankfully, the TF2 community offers all kinds of new maps, game modes and so much more to keep this game alive

EDIT: A few years later, I wish Valve would step up to clean out cheaters and whoever is infesting servers with bots. This could still be a fantastic game, but Valve would have to want it to be.
