Game is good, but it has teething issues!
The devs did not expect anywhere near the numbers they got, so they have had to put a limit on the servers to prevent instability while they work to fix it.

That said:
The gameplay is a blast; There are enough different mission types to keep from being bored. There are also side-missions and objectives at higher levels, and there are ALLOT of them.

There are, currently, 2 enemy factions, which play completely different from each other. Which is good for variety as well.

There are many fun & useful weapons to pick from for your bug-squashing, robot-hunting squad to use, based on your personal play style!

The monetization:
Yes, it has a battle pass. But it's clear they wanted to avoid 'pay 2 win' at all costs:
The free pass has 10 pages of rewards to the premium's 4.
The premium pass's weapons and armor are not better than the free's gear.
Most importantly: THERE IS NO FEAR OF MISSING OUT!
The battle passes content's will NEVER be removed! There may be new passes, but the old passes will always be available.

I have had many moments of hilarity with friends, so I think it's a game well worth getting if you have a squad to mess around with.
Just be aware that there may sometimes be a login wait, until they work out the servers.
